Mini Carnival Fun

Next Monday sees the closing ceremony of the Rio Olympic games. Inspired by the fabulous carnival atmosphere of Rio we’ve pulled together ideas for giving your family some mini carnival fun this weekend. From face painting to fashion we’ve got it all.

#1 Face Painting

Every child loves  face paint.  Get patriotic with team GB colours and flags or  opt for animals or your child’s favourite characters.  For some easy to  paint ideas take a look at Parenting.com’s gallery HERE

#2 Masks, Bracelets, Headdresses and more

A carnival wouldn’t be complete without a feather headdress, we love this idea from Hodepodgecraft (CLIKC HERE TO VIEW). Once you’ve created your headdress why not go the whole hog and add a mask and bracelet. Our create blog in association with the fabulous Creation Station has some great instruction videos for making a whole range of  accessories.
